Uniform

Mother India Public School, lays much emphasis on school uniform as it plays a vital role in promoting a sense of identity, equality, and discipline among our students. Our school uniform is designed to be comfortable, practical, and reflective of our school’s values. We expect all students to wear the uniform proudly and adhere to our dress code policy. By wearing the uniform, our students demonstrate their commitment to our school’s community.

All students are expected to wear the following school uniform:

Summer uniform is to be worn from April to October and winter uniform is to be worn from November to March every year.
Class I-XII will wear house uniforms on every Wednesday and Saturday.

SUMMER UNIFORM-

Chambray grey half sleeves shirt with embroided school logo on pocket. Vest should always be worn under the shirt. Carbon dark blue pant with school tie belt & ID card. Blue socks with double white strip border at the top. Black shoes with laces conforming to the authorized pattern. Sikh boys will wear a carbon dark blue Patka till class viii and dark navy blue turban from classes IX-XII.

SUMMER UNIFORM-

Chambray grey half sleeves kameez carbon dark attached jacket with embroided school logo (length should be 1 inch below knees), Carbon dark blue salwar, One plait with black grip or band , blue socks with double white double white strip border at the top, black shoes with laces conforming to the authorized pattern.

WINTER UNIFORM-

Chambray grey full sleeves shirts with embroidered school logo on pocket. Tweak maroon blazer, half sleeve blue sweater and blur woolen cap. Carbon dark blue pant with school tie belt & ID card. Blue socks with double white strip border at the top. Black shoes with laces conforming to the authorized pattern.

WINTER UNIFORM-

Light grey lower and house T-shirt with school logo patched on left top. Sikh boys will wear a white Patka till class VIII and white turban from classes IX-XII. White P.T. shoes, white socks, ID card on every Wednesday & Saturday.

Uniform Code

To maintain uniformity of shades, design and material, parents are advised to buy the uniform and shoes for their wards, from the authorized vendor.
Parents are requested to avoid buying oversized uniforms, because it does not look smart and becomes inconvenient for the child to move about freely.
Bloomers (with elastic on thighs) are compulsory for girls from classes Nursery to IV.
Parents are advised to see that boys wear vests and underwear. Their shorts should not be too tight.
Refrain from modifying your uniform in any way, such as altering the length or style of your uniform. Low waist pencil pants\Bell bottoms will not be treated as uniform.
Use of bracelets , earrings , golden\ silver\diamond ornaments, friendship , bands, fancy frame for spectacles and fancy\Smart watches are prohibited.
Every child must carry a handkerchief. The responsibility of sending the child to school in neat, well-fitting and decent uniform lies with the parents.
Entry into school without uniform is not allowed even after school hours or on holidays.
No child shall be allowed to enter school premises in casuals even if he / she is coming for an extra class / remedial class / PTM or any other purpose.
Students are not allowed to wear casuals to school on their birthdays.
House uniform is to be worn on specified days i.e. every Wednesday and Saturday
Only carbon blue caps, blue turbans and mufflers permitted during severe winters
Children should be properly groomed in terms of haircut, shaving and trimmed nails.
Due care must be taken to put name tags on all uniform items. This will help recover them in case of loss or exchange during MDP period, Yoga or practice sessions.
